PAUSE & PRAY
WHY PAUSE?
With all the transitions happening this year, we sense the Holy Spirit gently inviting us to pause—both to process and seek the Lord in prayer. We believe this intentional season of stillness will also allow us to abide more deeply in the One who does not change--Jesus. We know that He will faithfully lead Eleven Sixteen Church into a deeper life of faith and loving community.

Practically, this means we will be pausing all other gatherings, including discipleship groups and children’s classes that typically meet at 10:00 am on Sundays. In its place will be places to gather to pray. On Sundays, the auditorium doors will open at 10:30 am for a time of corporate prayer. Our regular Sunday service will continue at 11:00 am. We desire to still provide nursery care during the service for children ages 0–4, but will require parents and those who serve in Family Ministry to sign up to care for the little ones. A sign-up sheet will be available on Sundays to help cover the remaining Sundays in June and July. This pause will begin on June 29th.
In addition to Sunday mornings, we invite you to engage in prayer throughout the week. Our building remains open every Tuesday from 7:00 am to 7:00 pm as a consecrated day of prayer. We offer two corporate worship-led prayer times during that day: from 12:00–1:00 pm and again from 6:00–7:00 pm.
Lastly, we encourage you to consider hosting a simple prayer gathering in your home—just one or two families coming together to share a meal and pray in unity. These small spaces of connection can become powerful expressions of the body of Christ. Let us lean in together, seeking the Lord with open hearts. We believe He is drawing us closer to Himself and to one another.

UNIFIED PRAYER
Whether you choose to gather at the church building or in homes, we've put together some prayer points to help us pray in unity. We trust that as we respond in obedience, the Holy Spirit will reveal who He is forming us to be in this next season.
