Family Elements

Attached is the take-home sheet that includes the main ideas from today's lesson, memory verses, family prayer, and activities for children and parents.

--Kid's Memory Verse: JEREMIAH 17:7 (NIVr) "I will bless anyone who trusts in me. I will do good things for the person who depends on me."

-- Lesson Take-Home: Love God, Love People Lesson 15

--Family PrayerDear Father, By faith we will obey your call to be "living sacrifices". By faith, we will go, like Abraham, to where you tell us. By faith, we will work while waiting for the city that you have built for us because of our Savior, Jesus. In His Name, Amen.

Teaching

A pastor will teach through a biblical text, usually expository (verse by verse, chapter by chapter), for about 30-45 minutes. Teaching notes are made available to follow along and use for later personal study.

--Teaching: Pastor Jarrod Adkins

--No Teaching Notes This Week

Call to Action: Prayer

Prayer is how we talk to God. Prayers can be for personal requests, others, or giving thanks to God. Take some time to pray for each other and other requests shared. Biblical Examples: 1 Timothy 2:1; 1 John 5:14

--Pastoral Care Resources

Call to Action: Communion

Communion is a way to self-examine and focuses on the body and blood of Jesus. We invite every believer to take some time to reflect, repent, and respond through communion. Biblical Example: 1 Corinthians 11:17-34

Call to Action: Giving

Giving is a way for us to be like Jesus. As stewards, we are called to be generous with all that we have. Biblical Examples: Matthew 6:21; 1 Corinthians 16:1-2; 2 Corinthians 8:1-4; 9:6-8
