Do Something: Leading, Serving, Giving, Mercy, Exhortation, Faith, Healing, Miracles
Romans 12:4-8 4 For as in one body we have many members, and the members do not all have the same function, 5 so we, though many, are one body in Christ, and individually members one of another. 6 Having gifts that differ according to the grace given to us, let us use them: if prophecy, in proportion to our faith; 7 if service, in our serving; the one who teaches, in his teaching; 8 the one who exhorts, in his exhortation; the one who contributes, in generosity; the one who leads, with zeal; the one who does acts of mercy, with cheerfulness.
• Leading/Administrating – (Greek, proïstēmi, to rule or govern) this is more than a niche for business management, but leading and caring for people.
Cf. 1 Corinthians 12:27-28 27 Now you are the body of Christ and individually members of it. 28 And God has appointed in the church first apostles, second prophets, third teachers, then miracles, then gifts of healing, helping, administrating, and various kinds of tongues.
Hebrews 13:7, 17-18 7 Remember your leaders, those who spoke to you the word of God. Consider the outcome of their way of life, and imitate their faith. 17 Obey your leaders and submit to them, for they are keeping watch over your souls, as those who will have to give an account. Let them do this with joy and not with groaning, for that would be of no advantage to you. 18 Pray for us, for we are sure that we have a clear conscience, desiring to act honorably in all things. Cf. 1 Timothy 3:4-5; 5:17; Titus 1:10-11; 1 Thessalonians 5:12-13; 1 Corinthians 11:18-19; 2 Timothy 2:1-2
